It matters in that it marks the difference between something you would choose to do freely because you want to, and something you're doing because there's nothing else to do.
I would say good, but I feel bad about that so...[he just leans his head against the couch and holds her hand.] I'm just really glad you got out of there alive.
Yeah, well, you scared me. Both of you. [he mumbles into the couch but he keeps holding her hand anyway as the cat dream eater kneads its paws into the floor.] Also that's supposed to be my line to you.
I'm not that reckless. [that should not be the takeaway, sora.] But...you're right. Some rules are worth breaking. But I think you also know which ones those are and which ones aren't.
[he has no idea what to make of that. like. normally he's very good with people and perceptive of their feelings but he's not sure what to do with this so...he lets her nod before he settles for a bit.
he doesn't move immediately, but after a few seconds he says:]
[good. it means he's immediately sliding onto the couch and settling next to her so she can decide if she wants to lean against him or not. sometimes you want to support people and the only way you know how to do it is through being a tactile person.]
