[TODAY WAS TRULY A VERY BAD DAY. at some point in his wanderings, he will find himself approaching the inn. he's not entirely sure where he's going, but at the same time while he's walking he notices a familiar figure.

[ For as much has everyone else has been VERY AFFECTED by all of this, Hua Cheng is... calm, detached. He's 800 years old, he's seen death in spades. This was just very needless, in the grand scheme.

[ Hua Cheng is not the sort of person that enjoys admitting - loss. Of any kind. He's worked hard to have what he has, and win the battles he's won, and know the things he knows. This situation is not one he's a fan of, and it's obvious in the way his eye narrows and his brow furrows, there and gone in a moment. ]

I don't think you're the only one hoping that. [ He's not optimistic, but he's not just going to be a pessimist about it. Just... cautious. ]
People forget things all the time, but I think it's more the fact that all of us felt unsettled and realized that was why. So we'll see if the small ones are easier to regain or not, as a whole.

We'll see...and we'll see if we can even regain them anytime soon. That's the one thing I'm still not sure of.

I suppose that's better than nothing. I don't think outright distrusting them is gonna help us at all, but I guess I can't blame anyone for being neutral about them either.
Just until we find a better answer. I don't know what that looks like yet, but I know there's one out there. This can't be everything.
