But I should point out that it didn't work out for the people who originally went through that. We basically just went through a history lesson for a civilization that got wiped out, and then were told we had to do it too.
Anyway, we argued for a while because we all thought it was dumb and didn't want to do it, and eventually the doctor and horn guy were annoyed into agreeing. And after that we returned to the diner. [ a pause ] So even if that is a hint for our situation, if it didn't work once why should we believe it would work this time?

Maybe it's a coincidence, but a few people broke into a room earlier this week and they had to help a friend of Iris's. The next day, we found her body. You guys went through something similar to Hythlodaeus's world, and then he turned up dead today, too?
Even if it's not a solution to our situation, it feels a little...[targeted? and also, bad!]
This is idiotic. We can't even do anything about the murders since the bodies vanish before they can get examined, and conveniently no one is around when it happens. This place isn't that big.
That's the thing, too. Something like that can't just be hiding out, but it's like it was able to move without anybody seeing it at all. Maybe that's how people are dying.

...but I've heard people talking that something big is going to happen on Saturday. Two days from now. We don't know what it is yet though.
Maybe there's some type of spell that just makes us unable to notice something happening as well? Logically, even if something is invisible, it's questionable that we haven't even heard a commotion. You'd think we'd hear someone fighting back at least.
Someone suggested that earlier, and I kinda hope that's not our option. [especially when he's weaponless.]
That's what I'm wondering, too. When Riku and I saw the rat, we heard it right before it found us. So what kind of magic is it that everything's hiding from us? It's not like the bodies aren't real.

Part of why we're waiting until tomorrow is to make sure that nothing drastic happens, especially if there's something big coming on Saturday. We want to go in with as much information as possible.
