I’ve lost a fair bit of my memories as well and I don’t feel too different from how I used to be—nothing obvious anyway.

But that’s good. We have a week left and I’d hate to spend it dealing with a stranger. Granted, even if it did happen, I guess I’d just have to deal with it.
You dealt with it pretty okay when we first got here. But...I think I'd rather spend my time left with friends I already have than with strangers I may not get to know.
It's because I try to keep things in perspective. [ or shove it deep down inside where no one can see. ] If something needs to be done then I'll just deal with it.

I bet with the way you are, they wouldn't be strangers for very long in the first place.
I always sort of figured it was like that with you. Makes sense. [he doesn't seem to think that's a bad thing either.]
