[ NOT EVERYONE IS AS BRAZEN....... but she should have expected this on some level. some terrible level. that said, she won't be as forthcoming with it and kind of go back and forth a few times.
she could reject him!! ignore him!! but wouldn't that just look even more weird? ugh... ]
...A, Alphinaud.
[ also ty. how dare you walk into this. i hate you. ]
[....lmfao. WELL. this puts some things into context but he doesn't plan on saying shit so he just. smiles. :)]
He's pretty nice, isn't he? I don't think I'd mind someone like him either if it were me. [he is being polite about it, but he's also sincere? it's nice that izumo is nice to somebody, damn.]
[ don't think she doesn't notice that smile or the what he's going about it. she'll shove him!! in that way that a friend would shove another friend, no real malice behind it but just born from being embarrassed. ]
[ she does not give him the honor of a comeback and just emulates this entire icon as he laughs. (anything she'd say would make it worse, anyway.)
how embarrassing!!! she had been great about avoiding talking about it for THIS LONG. maybe should have gone for being weird. at least she doesn't shove him again but just crosses her arms and taps her foot.
very, very stereotypical tsun behavior. please, how dare sora get this information on her. how dare!!!! ]
[stop, that just makes him think it's funnier? he's not dumb enough to tell her that to her face but he's absolutely thinking it!! but he quiets down and faces her with a grin even while she's glaring at him.]
...he came to find me on Monday. I don't know if he told you, but he was worried about what happened. I'm glad you had someone you could trust to help you when we got back.
[ THE GRINNING IS TERRIBLE. SHE FEELS SO SEEN. but she trips up when sora explains things and. well. hmm. ]
He...he didn't mention that to me.
[ and this makes her feel a bit??? of course they had conversations about his opinions of finding her hurt one way or another but.. to go to someone—the fact that sora used the word "trust" and her entire body doesn't run cold or trigger a violent rejection...
closes my eyes at how it's week 1. let me rest........ ]
[ sometimes you have conversations that are unfortunately meaningful with a nice boy who hasn't said a wrong word. ...and it's terrible. but, when sora asks about her foot she can't help but think of it.
( there were many because of pcs, but his got the farthest so. ) ]
Yes.
[ she lowers her head and recounts it all. ]
He ripped his pillowcase to be used as a bandage, can you believe it?
[the thing is that yes, he can believe it, because that's the kind of person alphinaud seems to be. the smile's less teasing now and seem more quiet and pleased.]
I'm glad he knew what to do. [what to say.] He did a good job.
[ WHO JUST RIPS UP THEIR PILLOWCASE WITHOUT A SECOND THOUGHT THOUGH!! but she'll sigh. ]
Yeah. I guess he did.
[ sure it fell off later that night, but it's fine. (would she have reused it? no, idea.... probably not. that's nasty.) it did its job while it was tightly tied around her foot. who knows how izumo is dealing with her foot now.... ]
A, anyway—what were you busy with? I would have thought you'd be first one in line to talk to one of the leaders about what we saw?
but it worked well enough and that's what matters. he nods to himself as if to agree about izumo's point, but then she asks the question and he shrugs.]
I haven't exactly told my leader about it...but I'm going to talk to some of the others later to get an idea about some stuff in the Realm. I've been thinking about ways to keep everybody safe this week in case something else happens.
[ stop validating his impulsive behavior....her maiden heart. but sora's reply gets her to raise an eyebrow. ]
Keeping everyone safe?
[ she spares him the judgement from her voice because she's sure that sora will remember just how bitter she is about the subject. ...though if he's trying to prove his actions, she'll be less inclined to get testy with him. ]
Nothing guaranteed, but Clementine and I were thinking about hanging up some reminders about Thursday night to make sure people weren't spending the night alone. I know it may not help if we all fall asleep, but at least if something happens where we're locked in people can confirm each other's stories, and maybe protect them if there's a way to wake up.
Exactly. [he feels very smart with this plan.] It's something, and if it doesn't work I have time to come up with something else later next week if we have to do this all over again.
I think we'll have a good idea of what will and won't work after another week. We'll have been here long enough by then to know what people will listen to.
That's true, too. [he can't even argue with that. he's fought enough people before to know that recognizing patterns is a thing.] It's just another reason to really get to know people here, isn't it?
If we can't find clues, all we can do is think of what we know about everybody else.

why. why is sora like this??? ]
Y, you tell me your's first!

Ochako. [did. she really think that would deter him?] It's not that bad. I like hanging out with her.

[ ftr, yes. he is very nice. ]

Nothing! Don't worry about it. I just think it's nice you have somebody you get along with.
[...also he's aware alphinaud's worried over her and that's nice, too. someone to look out for her in this place isn't a bad thing.]

I guess he didn't have to. He just wanted to make sure things were okay and talk about what we found out there.
[the rest is just sort of sora's opinion on things.] Is he the one who helped you with your foot last week, too?

The more familiar we are with things and settled we get, it gives those who want to take advantage of it some groundwork to deal with.
[ not that 3 murders need to happen a week BUT. ]
