[First off, I'm charging Ty for war crimes bc of that meme.

But more to the point, Archer (as he insists he be called by everyone) is actually on the hunt for one spiky-haired youth, whom he's taken a keen interest in the moment he talked about some Phil dude.

Who knows why. He hasn't explained anything yet. But he is smiling brightly upon finding Sora somewhere in town, offering him a nod and trotting up to him]

Ah, there you are. I don't suppose you are busy at the moment?

[reconnective]

[mean. regardless, sora's out and about wandering when he hears archer's hooves on the pavement and he returns the grin as he's approached.]

Hey! I was just looking through town again. What's up?

I was hoping I could have that demonstration of your physical abilities.

[He is STILL going on about that, apparently, but looks to Sora eagerly because. Please. Show him.]

[oh, is it time for that already? sora doesn't seem to object, though a part of him looks a little disappointed for a reason.]

I don't have my Keyblade, but I can try. [it's harder without his weapon :c] What did you have in mind?

[Me after having battled through my inbox to get here:

Well by some miracle Chiron is able to battle off everyone who knows he has a concussion so he can look Sora over, wherever he is, and horse dad's expression is concerned once he finds him]

Tell me in detail what happened, Sora.

[sora's probably seated outside somewhere, but he gives chiron a rather plaintive look then. he also still has the sword at his side.]

Does...it have to be in detail?

...[you drive a hard bargain, man.]

...fine. [...] At first, it kind of looked exactly the same as everywhere else across the bridge. Nothing seemed weird until we got to an area that split off. There was a trail of blood going one way, and this trail of...alien slime going the other. So Shiro suggested that he and Blanca take the blood trail and Alex and I would go the other way.

W1 || Friday

[Ask and ye shall receive, Ty. Where is Sora because Horse Dad will be looking for him]

[sora's definitely half-asleep on a couch in the lobby but it's because he's busy watching people come in and out of the inn. when he sees chiron though he lifts a hand to wave at him.]

...hey. Kind of hard to believe we're doing this again, isn't it? [he doesn't sound that surprised though.]

[antaressnipe]

No, I expected it.

[Chiron, at least try to be surprised]

The stakes are quite high, and the first death was the signal that not everyone can be trusted... though I still wish it hadn't been so.

[reconnective]

I really wish the same. [HE HATES THIS.] But what're we supposed to do? Are we really going to have to repeat last Saturday? That didn't exactly end well.

[ow, his pikachu-shaped wounds.]

W1 || Sunday

[He's by the river after all of that.

... Because frankly he needs a moment to himself, even a couple of second's worth. His bow, ever present, is laid against his flank while he stares into the water]

[reconnective]

[that's okay, chiron can have his moment. it takes a bit for sora to approach and he seems to be walking more for the sake of stretching his legs and getting some fresh air. as he walks along the riverbank though, he finds himself coming closer to chiron and stopping next to him, staring out at the water, too.]

...there wasn't really a way we could've been prepared for that, is there.

No.

[A simple statement followed by a few beats of silence before Chiron chooses to continue]

-- Well. That is not exactly true. We could have been more thorough in disarming Kano, for instance. But even if he had been weaponless, we could not have accounted for his decisions.

[If he had wanted to fight for his life, that's out of the group's hands]

[he shakes his head.]

Kano...made himself pretty hard to know. I want to think I might understand why he did this, but I don't feel right saying it for sure.

But we have to be more thorough ourselves from now on. I don't even know where he got so many scalpels.

W4 || Tuesday

[Y'know what Chiron surprisingly likes?

No, really, he's found where the stables have been kept this week and is literally running drills with the animals with the skill of one who has kept them before, a baby T-Rex fast on his heels as he makes them all jump over a few posts.

Upon seeing Sora, he will give a wave]

Ah, hello. Do you ride, Sora?

[We will get to memories, Chiron is just in a good mood? It's amazing after that weekend]

[i'm glad chiron found his kin. sora's going to be approaching the stables and he's watching for a moment before he grins at him.]

Not exactly. We didn't have horses on the island or anything and most of the places we've been other people were the riders. You seem pretty familiar with them already though.

[antaressnipe]

Ah. An island... that would explain it then. And yes, I taught all of my students how to ride horses as well as care properly for them.

[he gently leads a quiet mare over to Sora by the reins, and pats her neck]

When my students were young, I did not mind if they rode on my back, but after a certain age they needed experience with actual steeds.

[because sometimes the horse isn't a horse.]

[PLEASE EXPLAIN HOW CHIRON IS SOMETIMES NOT A HORSE. but as chiron approaches with the mare he stays still and he grins before letting a hand reach up to pet her nose.]

I guess regular horses would have a harder time communicating than you do, huh. Did you guys need their help a lot? [...in battle, he means.]

W5 || Sunday

[They're all sick and dying but guess what? Their resident saint is still alive, so Chiron is in good spirits when he approaches Sora.]

Sora, if I could have a moment of your time?

[reconnective]

[he's trying to seem in good spirits, too, but sometimes you still feel sick and it's uncomfortable. regardless, the mood is lighter than this morning and he grins at chiron with a nod.]

Nothing overly significant; at this point I believe most of us are aware of what must be done these upcoming weeks, but this is still my attempt to make sure it is so.

If you mean making sure each team has killed twice? Yeah, I know. We're working on making sure all of the teams are covered. As far as I know, only two more need to kill one time each to meet the requirement.
