[well. because you and flurry set me up this way, on this fine day sora's barging into the arcade again and immediately perks up upon spotting the back of taako's head? hm. well, it's about to become clear why as he approaches with a little more enthusiasm than taako's anticipating.]

Lup! I think I figured out how to win the crane game--

[except he suddenly tunes in to what taako's wearing and he blinks in surprise.] You...are not Lup. [give him a moment to wrack his brain.] It's Taako, right?

[nailed it.]

[Snorting! Really loudly. He certainly isn't offended, though he does seem pretty entrenched in a Whack-a-Mole session.]

Oh-- don't take the fun out of it. I could totally be Lup.

[reconnective]

[he rolls his eyes, but he's watching the game because sometimes you come from an island where things like this don't really exist.]

Hilarious. People probably do that all the time, don't they? [this probably won't be the last time it happens either but rip.]

WEEK 0

[hello sad boy. Where you at.

Wherever he is, Taako will approach, a little cautiously - waving a bit.]

[today the sad boy issss in the kitchen and he seems to be concentrating on whisking some eggs? hm. sometimes it's better to keep busy than not, but he does look up when he hears someone speak to him.]

Taako, hey. [it's not as energetic as usual, but there's a light smile anyway.] What's up?

[uhhhmagic]

[Just watching, leaning against the doorframe, arms crossed.]

. . . Taking all this kinda, uh, hard, then, huh?

WEEK 1 - FRIDAY

[hey where is sora

it doesn't really matter because if Taako spots him he just raises his coffee mug and takes a lil sippy]

How's your day going? It's 9am and I've already been the innocent victim of an attempted stabbing.

[reconnective]

[you know what, he's just probably in the lobby so that's where they are now. and also, he just stops and stares to backtrack toward taako.]

You what now?

I was almost the third boy! A moon-stabbing!

w2 tuesday

[reconnective]

[another day, another pirate adventure. on tuesday, sora finds himself wandering through town with a vague sense of purpose and an idea of what he wants to accomplish today. he's not entirely sure where to find taako, but the port's only so big and he figures there are only a few places he'd be.

when he finally does enter the pub and sees him there, he lifts his hand in a wave and has zero qualms about pulling up a chair and joining him.]

I was hoping I'd find you today. Can I talk to you for a sec? [what are you planning, sora.]

[uhhhmagic]

[Taako is just hanging out in his pirate outfit still, just sitting with a mug of . . . something, in front of him. Who knows what time of day it is and if it's an acceptable beverage, but. it's fine.

He tilts his head when Sora sits down, but doesn't leave or anything.]

Uh-huh?

[reconnective]

[no judgment here, taako can be drinking at 10am if he wants. regardless, sora's pirate hat seems to shield his face just a smidge but from this close taako might be able to pick up a hint of nervousness but also some curiosity as sora thinks of how to ask what he wants to ask.]

Thanks. So...have you talked to your leader much about what's going on?

w3 friday

[so anyway, after the swans meeting sora will go and seek out taako on his own? he still looks a little livid, but he's calmed down enough that he easily approaches him and just cuts to the chase.]

Lup tells you everything, right?

[He blinks.]

Because she told me not to say anything about something she told me, but I can almost guarantee that you already know about this thing.

w3 sunday

[he'll eventually drag himself to go find taako and when he does there's the loudest sigh in the world.]

I'm happy we didn't kill anybody else, but am I the only one still worried we have some kind of lunatic still running around?

WEEK 4 - MONDAY

[Oh. Hey Sora. Waving a hand? He just got back from a little . . . kerfluffle outside and is still kind of fired up about it, threading his hands through his braid and mumbling to himself irritatedly.]

Why is everyone being so fucking weird this week . . . ?

[hm. sir? you good? he waves back but he also can't just ignore that, so.]

Uh...you good? [what just happened?]

WEEK 4 - WED

[Okay I’m circling back to memories, but—]

I got a message back from Greg.

[reconnective]

[this may or may not be after today's mini event but regardless sora...has to think of what the hell that means. ]

Greg. [it only takes a moment to figure it out though.] I didn't know you wrote to her. What'd she say?

Yup. [here they are.] Mostly because I want to know what your plan is for telling Lup you remember stuff.

w6 sunday

[reconnective]

[he wanders into the kitchen at some point both a little damp and sandy, but as he walks in he finds taako instead. there's only a moment's pause before he sighs quietly and approaches.]

...well. That part's over, at least.

. . . That part's over.

[Hi. The kitchen is. A big ass mess. This is fine! This is probably fine. There might be a few shattered dishes around. That's cool.]
