[jae said any location so let's say that rufus is back outside somewhere. sora's out and about, seemingly taking the "explore to your heart's content" note very seriously but as he sees someone familiar ahead he dashes forward to join him.]
Hey Rufus. [all smiles.] Have you checked out the planetarium yet?
[The hand lingers, but not because Rufus wants to and more because of an invisible weight keeping it there in the form of a powerful compulsion. Great.]
[well. the rocking of the room every now and then doesn't seem to bother him much and he's pretty contently curled up in his hammock. strangely, though, it's as if his body seems to sense something is Off and after a moment he blinks awake to squint blearily around the room.
okay. so the pod...is gone...but this is new.]
Where are we now...? [good morning, rufus, i'm sure this is the wake-up call you wanted.]
[he's sitting up in his hammock to watch rufus for a moment. okay. so not terrible in terms of new roommates, but he's taking time to glance around their new set-up.]
So it seems. I still don't get how it can change so fast without anybody noticing, but that's gotta mean the area past the bridge changed, too.
[later in the day, after sora's gone out and about to visit with others and enjoy the port one last time he finds himself entering his room with rufus. he doesn't think much of it, but when he spots the man already there he lifts a hand in a wave.]
Feeling any better? [after...24 hours...of anti-truth.]
[Rufus hasn't been back terribly long. Seated on a bench, he's looking down at the doll of a forlorn woman in his hand when Sora enters. His fingers close around the plush.]
Good. I was kind of wondering if it would wear off sooner than later. [he's heading toward his hammock and he's settling in, watching rufus and the doll curiously.]
...I'm glad it wasn't you. Sorry we had to do it this way though.
[chiron told him to look after rufus, but rufus was up and gone before sora could even register it. but it's okay. it's okay because once people are settled, sora sets out to find rufus himself. it seems as though he's just missed him at the first aid station, so it's on his way back to the inn that he finally spots him and immediately falls into step with him.]
[With no change of clothes available to him then, he's still in the very bloody uniform. Some of the topmost buttons remain undone, showing off a glimpse of the dressing wrapped around his chest. Both of his hands have also been bandaged to shield them from the outside air.
And what, you wanted to do it yourself? I didn't know you knew first aid. [it's a little sarcastic, but also if rufus does somehow know first aid that's a good thing to know.]
W0 MONDAY
Hey Rufus. [all smiles.] Have you checked out the planetarium yet?
no subject
Yes. Have you?
no subject
Yeah! It's a lot cooler than I thought it'd be inside. But now we know why it was locked. That means you saw the note from Fox and the others right?
no subject
What about it?
no subject
It sounds like we'll be able to get more information from them really soon, especially if we can talk to them by ourselves. That's good isn't it?
no subject
It looks as though we'll be here longer than we'd hoped.
no subject
Sounds like it. We've got a new job ahead of us. Plus the winning team gets a reward at the end. Some kind of wish. Think it's true...?

Having roused just a moment earlier, Rufus has jumped hammock and is studying the radio when Sora stirs. He looks over his shoulder.]
It appears to be a ship.

So it seems. I still don't get how it can change so fast without anybody noticing, but that's gotta mean the area past the bridge changed, too.
no subject
[He steps away from the radio. That horrid song is no longer playing.]
no subject
A port...like for fishing? Or pirates? [he will take either.] I guess they were right. The bridge is going to lead us somewhere new each week.
no subject
You sound excited.
