And unless they're hunting us down for sport one by one with days apart, it makes no sense to just suddenly decide to kill us. Especially for no reason.

Yeah. Fox, Rabbit and Wolf have been in town every single day this week except for today. They would've acted by now, and Fox said they were here before us anyway. You're right. If they wanted to do something to hurt us, it doesn't make sense for them to wait so long.
Plus if they were guilty...why would they give us the chance to collect evidence and talk to them tomorrow to figure out what happened?
