[haha what a night. after the events of the day before, sora's taking his sweet time to rejoin the waking world but when he does he's decked out in his pirate gear once more and takes to walking around the town, humming to himself.
he's not too terribly distracted though, and as he comes across hansa he gives him a wave! except. hansa has. a jar of dirt?
I have a lot of questions, but I think I have to start with what's so neat about a jar of dirt. [as he approaches, hansa will also just have to deal with the literal ??? here.]
Bet that made him happy. [sora aren't you rooming with rufus? it's hard to read him sometimes.] The skeletons were dumb enough to tell us the treasure was in the swamp. That's where you guys ended up?
[due to being out at sea, sora has zero idea what happened with literally anyone else.]
He was pretty happy. [And he nods.] We did. I think some people showed up later but I was too preoccupied with Alex and Dorothy. They got hurt, you know.
[it might be hard to track down hansa, but sora will do his best to check everywhere both around the town and in the village starting at the inn, and then in the kitchen, and then outdoors in surrounding areas. hansa...sir...where are you?]
[In the forest - one (1) cyborg man can be found sitting against a tree. His eyes are closed, but he's obviously still alive! He's just petting his black cat in his lap.]
[He won't say anything, but his mouth turns up in a little smile when he hears someone approach.]
[well hansa doesn't seem too fussed about the company, so sora approaches and he will sit on the ground a little ways away to give him space.]
Who's your friend? [it's light in tone, a gentle question just to gauge where hansa's at before he starts asking what the heckity heck happened. but also? cats are cute.]
[man. what a morning. after everything's said and done, sora will set off to go find hansa. he has a mug in one hand and a piece of fish in a napkin in the other. he's Prepared.
so yeah. wherever hansa is...he approaches.]
So. On a scale from one to ten how surprised were you today?
[he crouches down to feed this perfect kitty the fish, but he's also holding up the mug for hansa. it's...tea! because he remembers things, sometimes, and knew better than to give hansa coffee.]
Really? Somehow that's higher than I thought. [but it's more amused than anything.] You must be happy things worked out then.
[He gives a smile and a nod at the offered tea, and Treasure nips on the fish to go back to Hansa's side, sitting down to eat.]
Oh, for sure. I'll give you an answer before you ask: I don't know how it happened. A pretty little bird told me that things might turn out okay, so I didn't really know how it would actually work out.
w2, thursday
he's not too terribly distracted though, and as he comes across hansa he gives him a wave! except. hansa has. a jar of dirt?
...hm.]
What's with the dirt?

Oh, this? [A light shrug.] Got it from a treasure chest. Thought it was neat, so I decided to keep it.

[Sora will just receive sheer amusement from Hansa, who's smirking on top of it.]
I mean, of all things, dirt? In a jar? When have you ever seen that?
no subject
Never, I guess. [kh left that part of jack sparrow out.] What else was in that chest though?

[Anyways, he opens his eye! And smiles a little wider.]
His name is Treasure. [Treasure - the cat - lets out a mrrp as it shifts in his lap, glancing back to Sora.] Want to pet him? He's very nice.
no subject
If that's okay. [he will hold out his hand for treasure to sniff.] Seems to like you a lot. Where'd he come from?
no subject
Would you believe me if I said that we found him as a kitten in the streets?
no subject
Hansa, you would be amazed at the things I believe. So yes. I would. You adopted him?
no subject
Yes. We took him in, and he lived with us the entire time we were there.

[Treasure instantly sniffs the fish! He is very excited, trotting up to Sora and mewing. Please give him the food.]
[Meanwhile, Hansa strokes his chin.]
Maybe..a four?

New question then. How long before the fact did you get to know? If that's something you can even tell me.
no subject
[Sips at the tea.]
The night before, only.

So you already knew you'd be the one chosen, too?
