They're all pretty soft. I've never seen this many in one place either. [not really, anyway. but he hums a bit like he's not sure what counts as catching his eye.] Everything's a little different than what I'm used to finding in shops. The sunglasses are cool though, and I bet some of the really big stuffed animals would make good pillows.

What kind of shops do you usually go to?

There are some shops in Traverse Town that sell healing items and stuff, but most of the time we buy directly from the Moogles. They have all kinds of stuff for sale like potions, armor, jewelry, weapons...[yeah.]

[ all of that sounds legit enough except— ]

Potions?

[ what kind of potions? ]

Oh, those suit you so well! If you like them, I encourage you to take them.

[ she thinks he looks positively adorable. ]

For healing in battle. [he can hear the unasked question and he's happy to explain even while wearing cute shades.]

You think? [there's probably no mirror to see himself, but he'll trust her judgment and nod in agreement.] I'll keep them, then. Never know when we can use them.

[ She likes the idea of healing potions very much. There is healing magic where she's from but no healing potions. ]

I do think so! It's good to keep your eyes shielded and look the part.

[considering the pleased smile he will trust her judgment and wear them right out of the store at this rate. but he'll focus on one thing at a time and now that thing is healing bullshit.]

Potions are useful but we know healing spells, too. Sometimes one is easier to use than the other though. I has a few in my pocket but everything was gone when I woke up here.

I'm without a few things I had on me as well.

[ Like her ARMOR. Which was more decorative than useful because fate/ designs are what they are, but that's fine. ]

It's strange what made it with us here and what didn't, but I'm glad to know that at least a home, you had multiple ways to heal.

[ Although that brings up the question of what was he doing that he needs both healing potion and magic? ]

[she can always ask and he will, unfortunately, be more than happy to tell her. as it is though he nods in agreement because wow, he sure is glad as well.]

I've been trying to figure out why they took all of our other stuff when they already took our powers. [this reminds him though.] Did you find some things waiting for you in your room at the hotel?

[ In the future because we're going to PC until one of us dies.

Pink tinges her cheeks briefly. ]

Ah, yes, I was finally able to get into my room.

[ She couldn't figure out how to open the door on the first day. ]

I found my standard. I... thought I'd find something else, but this works better for me. Was what you found in your room what you expected?

[good gimme all ara pcs. but also jeanne...did you get locked out, too. it's okay, sora didn't actively figure it out until he helped someone else. technology.]

That's good, but what's a standard? [or, rather, "a standard what?" he pauses then to think about a truthful answer to her question.] What I found wasn't what I expected. Not really. But at the same time it sort of was.

[ Sometimes, technology is hard? Sometimes, technology makes things so simple that it doesn't occur to you to place the phone against the door because you don't know it can be a key. ]

A flag standard. It's what I rode into battle with.

[ She looks thoughtful about his answer. ]

Would you say what you found was something that you didn't have on you before coming here? Is that why?

[he still doesn't quite know what a flag standard is, but he can figure it out based on the context clues. it's something important to mark her role as a fighter, he thinks.]

It sounds pretty personal. [not even in a bad way. he kind of thinks it's nice. he takes a second to stop what he's doing though to reach into his pocket before pulling out an item to rest in the palm of his hand.]

Sort of. It's more like it's just sort of funny it came back to me.

You can say it represents me. It was a sign of my resolution. I'll show it to you next time we meet.

[ She doesn't know if she can say she's proud of it necessarily, but there's no doubt that it's important to her. She owns it. She owns up to what it means. ]

That's lovely. What is it, exactly?

I'd like that. [it means learning more about her, and that's important. he keeps the charm out for her to see, but his eyes drift down to look at it himself with a soft sort of fondness.]

It's a lucky charm. Someone really important to me gave it to me a long time ago to keep safe until I could get back home to see her again. I never really got to return it to her the second time, I guess, but...it's funny that it ended up here.

[ She takes in his fondness, and it makes her smile. When you can look back on something with those kind of feelings... ]

Funny, or its charm working. Isn't it lucky that you'll get a second chance now?

Yeah...I hope so. [the charm slips back into his pocket not long after that.] I know she's waiting for me. All of them are. So...we just have to do our best to figure out what to do next here.

You have people to get back to too, don't you?

That's right. That's the goal.

[ To return everyone to whoever's waiting for them. At his question, she looks a little thoughtful, resolute. ]

I do. There is something I must take care of.

[he doesn't expect her to tell him, but it does make him curious enough to pry anyway.]

A good something, or something important that has to be done? [he will not call it "a bad something."]

Can it not be both?

[ She smiles, as if she doesn't know what he's implying. (She does.) ]

It can be. [but the look he gives her is one that absolutely wonders if that's possible here.] Well...whatever it is, we'll be sure to work extra hard to get out of here and make sure you can get back to finish it.

[ She nods. ]

We'll work hard for everyone to return to what they need or want to do.

[good. determinations!!] And until then? We...figure out what to do about all this stuff.

[there are. still. so many items to go through.]
