I saved all of them. [this is not really the answer alex was looking for, but it's important.] I brought them back and we were able to stop Xehanort.

Yes. [he's a little tense under the touch because it's a slightly sensitive subject, but he's firm about that. sometimes you just do crazy shit for the people you love.]

Is it brave? [it's an uncertain question.] I did what had to be done to help them.

I think so. Even if you think it's something that has to be done, it doesn't make it less of a daunting thing to face.

Sora, you might not, but other people might. I'd be sad to see you hurt, and I've not been waiting for you while you world hopped for years trying to find me. [ you see her point? ]

...I know. [he rubs the back of his neck nervously.] But there isn't much I can do to change it now. As long as they're safe...they'll have to forgive me eventually.

I didn't understand it back then. And I didn't really understand it whens someone else said something similar. But I understood enough to make the choice.

Anyway...any version of that guy isn't someone I would've listened to anyway.
