... It still sucks though, huh?

Everything about all of this sucks a lot. No matter what option we pick, it's gonna be a problem.

It is. But... we're looking at the end goal now, right?

[reconnective]

I hope so. That's what everybody believes now, isn't it? Two more kills and we'll maybe get an answer to what we have to do next.

...it's gonna be an end goal we want, isn't it?

If it brings everyone back and lets us leave? Then yes.

[reconnective]

I hope it's true then. [he believes it is, but...the realm's tricky.] It'll be soon. And then everyone will be okay again.

[a pause.] Are you worried about the people we might still lose...?

[chanteuser]

[ ... ]

Yes. Extremely.

[reconnective]

[...a huff.]

Yeah. Me too. Especially when there's still the chance any one of us could splinter without warning.

[chanteuser]

If we had a way to pick up on splintering early, it'd be easier. But we don't and... well. That goes against us as well.

[reconnective]

It's always Wednesday. All we can do is have a plan where the victim can be interchangeable but...that feels more pessimistic than I want to be right now.

[chanteuser]

You might need to anyway, Sora. I know you know that.

Yeah, I know. We're not wasting time with our other plans, we're working on those. I just me we as in everybody because we don't know who could splinter at any time.

I wish we had a better way of tracking it. But... if we did, we wouldn't be in this situation so it's a bit futile to wish for it.

[reconnective]

I can keep wishing as long as the Realm is around. If it listens to other things, there's a chance it'll listen to that, too.

[chanteuser]

If we could figure out exactly what it listened to, that would help. But... no, you're right. It doesn't hurt to try.

[reconnective]

Yeah. [hrrrm.] I've thought about asking the leaders to see if they know more about what the Realm's doing, but I don't want to upset them if nothing's changed.

[chanteuser]

... I mean. It doesn't hurt to check? As long as you don't go in sounded expectant or too upset if nothing's changed.

[reconnective]

I won't. I just want to see if anything's changed at all. All of us have changed, so...you would think maybe it did, too.

[chanteuser]

Like it's... growing and changing along with us?

[reconnective]

Yeah. We know the Realm itself picked up things from us at the very beginning like the trial and execution. So I do think it's possible maybe it picked up on other small things, too.

[chanteuser]

I wonder how much of that was us, or just... human nature in general. When we hear punishment, or trial, we think of things like a court. But I guess it still stands that it'd pick up other things from us either way.

[reconnective]

Yeah. I didn't think of a court or a trial when this first started. A lot of that was new to me. The only court I've been to was the Queen of Hearts to defend Alice. [thinking...]

It's just an idea. Even if it amounts to nothing, it's better than not checking at all.

[ .... it's a good think alex doesn't remember alice in wonderland books. ] If it goes by majority rules though, maybe it goes for what more people think of.

Oh, I'm not disagreeing with that. I think it's worth checking.
