[so probably after the npc pow wow hour, sora will find himself wandering in the woods away from everyone else. there's a lot to think about here and a lot to prioritize, but for the moment he just wants to step away to organize his thoughts and plan his next steps.

of course, it's never a bad time to say hello to a friend so when he spots usagi in the forest he lifts a hand to wave, jogging lightly to approach.]

Hey, Usagi. [there's a grin.] What're you doing out here?

[ Usagi, who honestly wandered off halfway through because most of it just whooshed over her head beams from where she's sitting. she doesn't get a lot of the issues but it's fine, this is what she has the other smarter characters for ]

Sora-kun!! Look, I found bunnies....!!

[ look at the bun taking a nap in her lap. it's honestly now the best day ever ]

[admittedly it's easy to derail him from what he was thinking about so when he sees her on the ground his eyes widen and he looks on in awe.]

Wow...[what a cute bun!! don't mind him crouching down to join them.] He looks comfy. How'd you get him to come to you like that? [the rabbit he knows is very opinionated, you see.]

I came to say hello and they hopped over for pets. ....I think they like me.

[ THAT SURE WAS A TRIAL, HUH?

Usagi is coming to join him on the roof, her hands full of steaming mugs of chocolate. ]

Here, for you.

[EVERYTHING HAPPENED A LOT. they're on a roof though and he's a little surprised when someone joins him. it's usagi though and it means there's a tired sort of smile as he takes one of the mugs.]

Thanks. [he'll scoot just enough to give her room to sit down.] ...why does it feel like we still haven't really solved anything?

[ roofs make her feel tall of course she hangs out on them. but that being said she makes herself comfortable at his side, clutching her own mug to her chest ]

It's just the beginning. [ she sounds tired and worn when she says it, looking up at the sky ] This disturbance... It doesn't feel like it will be vanquished so easily.

I don't think so either. [they can lean against each other, at least, and he continues to look ahead.] I wish it were that easy though. If the disturbance is still hanging around...more people could get hurt.

But I don't even know where to start looking yet.

[despite everything, he's well aware he should still feed himself so he wanders his way into the kitchen after a much-needed nap. he's still carrying the sword with him, but he seems less on-edge than he had initially.

instead, as he enters the kitchen and sees usagi he offers her a soft grin.]

Weird morning, huh? [you were half of the reason it was weird, idiot.]

Sora-kun!

[ she sounds delighted to see him but also, bOY YOU SHOULD BE RESTING. Talk about being stuck mid chore but also wanting to go over and turtleslap for him being up and about so soon ]

Hey. [he pointedly ignores that he should rest even though his arm hurts like a bitch.] Did I miss much?

[moondumplings]

[ Sora, your arm...! But she shakes her head, frowning at the food in front of her. ]

There hasn't been anything else since your group got back as well.

[usagi if you're still passed out on the floor...but sora makes his way back to the docking area, seeking one (1) rabbit. this was the last place he saw her, so it makes sense to search here first.

where are you, usa?]

[ there is one (1) bunny sitting on the floor of the airlock, blinking quite tiredly at the now empty space. she probably just woke up? it's fine.

talk about missing all the excitement ]

[siiigh. he approaches and crouches down next to her.]

Good morning. [kind of teasing.] You okay?

[moondumplings]

Sora-kun.

[ she sounds a little puzzled to be on the floor but that's probably to be expected. it's fine. she smiles like this isn't anything new ]

[the jungle's actually not bad. sora's been having a good time hanging out, exploring the area and checking out everything. but while he's in the village he spots usagi not too far away and bounds up to her.]

Have you been through the savanna yet?

[moondumplings]

[ she beams excitedly at him even if it turns a little sheepish at the question. ]

Only once.......... I accidentally found Leopard-san last time.

[ hua cheng had to come rescue her ]

Accidentally. [he sounds amused, poor usagi.] Pretty sure the leopard's hiding out somewhere else for a while...wanna explore with me? I want to say hi to some of the zebras and giraffes.

[you know. all so casually.]

week 4, monday idk

[ god fuckin knows where usagi is right now but it's probably lost in the wild, wild west. but you can bet she's just exploring for now, even with those fun foglike orbs just lurking around her. she seems to be just lost in thought for the moment but it's fine, probably.

[usagi...why are you the way you are? either way, sora's exploring as well, and when he notices that she seems to be spacing out he just approaches here, trying to twirl past the bubbles.]

Usagi? Hey, Usagi! [hello sailor focus...]

[ HUHWH- like with a pop of a spaced out bubble, usagi jerks back a tad and turns to look at him ]

Oh-! Sora-kun. Good morning.....?

[ meanwhile, she's just watching him do this and absolutely not judging the sick moves he's doing to Not Touch. ]

[well. here they are. they still have their bucket of fish and they can feed dolphin-san together.]

...it's sad, isn't it?

[ given the wail Sora was probably in earshot of, it sure is! Usagi's gone shock silent and only gives the barest hint of a nod. it's....... incredibly upsetting to once again lose someone she was close to. ]

..........I'm tired.

[it's entirely possible he didn't hear the severity of it because he's actually half-deaf, but details. nevertheless...]

Yeah. Me too. [...a fish for dolphin-san who does a flip for them.] You guys were pretty good friends, weren't you? Are you...how're you doing?
