There wasn't a lot. We ran into a, ah, trail after entering the forest from the east side. The cloth was a little further down the trail, and— [Ugh.] Ichinose-san's body was at the end. We found a broken branch nearby as well. That's all I remember right now.
It's funny. We found a trail leading into the forest, too, but it was in the other direction. We followed it to a clearing where the squirrel must've ran from your group. Hilda kept going and that's how she saw you guys.
[She furrows her brows, bringing a hand up to her chin.]
... Ichinose-san came from one direction, whatever attacked her came from the other, and they both ran into each other in the same spot. That would make the most sense — I think?
I think so, too. If she wasn't expecting anything to go wrong it would've been really easy to surprise her. [hmmm...] But then which way did they go after that?
