[on this fine day, sora's on his way back to the hotel when he finds himself falling into step with yoshizawa on the main road. it's not entirely on purpose, but now that they're here he doesn't see anything wrong with saying hello.]
Hi. I don't think I got your name when we met the other day. I'm Sora. [hewwo new friend.]
[She's literally out here jogging in the very same outfit she arrived in, with the addition of a brand new pair of glasses. Thanks, Rabbit. She will be nice enough to slow down once he falls into step with her.]
Oh! Hello! I'm sorry, it must have totally slipped my mind. [An itty bit winded. She continues to slow down her pace until she stops, in order to offer him a quick bow.] I'm Sumire Yoshizawa. It's nice to meet you, Sora-san.
[Well, here's Sumire! Still looking a bit sick and cradling a plushie in her arms, she will run into him somewhere in the outer fringes of the forest. Looking up once they're in each other's vicinity, she blearily blinks at him.]
[this poor girl? once she approaches though he'll look back at her and give her a light smile. it's not exactly happy though.]
Oh, Sumire. I was just...[...well.] I guess it's kind of dumb, but I wanted to see if there was a squirrel around. I thought maybe he might be able to lead us to something else.
[...he's eyeing the doll curiously but he does not say anything yet.] What're you doing out here?
[he hears footsteps behind him as she gets closer, but he doesn't turn just yet. he's busy staring at the water like it'll hold even more clues to what to do next.]
...for what? You didn't do anything wrong. [he turns his head slightly though and there's a brief smile.] I didn't get to thank you earlier for coming back to the woods with me. So...thank you for that.
[sometime in the afternoon, sora finds himself wandering around the inn idly searching for somebody. lucky for him, it doesn't take too long to track her down and as he enters the kitchen he spots sumire in front of him.]
[She seems to be in the middle of tidying up after lunch, scraping a few leftover bits and ends off a plate when he walks in. Do they have a dishwasher in the kitchen? We just don't know. But as soon as he catches her attention, she greets him with a smile and a shake of her head.]
Mm? Oh. Yeah, a little. [the sword is still nearby and he's busy tacking up a sign on the bathroom door, but he offers her a smile.] I just wanted to get these up before tonight.
[after all is said and done, sora disappears into the inn to track down a wayward friend. at least she didn't find a body this week, but he's also? concerned? about how she seemed when they met up.
[Sumire is looking, uh, unwell when she walks into the planetarium. Puffy eyed, sniffling, the works. Her glasses are tucked against her shirt, so she doesn't quite see him right away... but once she does, she rubs at her eyes and approaches him.]
[he's sitting on the ground but there's room if sumire wants to join him. he's staring up at the ceiling and up close, she can probably see his jaw's just a little tight.]
...terrible, I guess. [at least he's honest.] Are you okay?
[it's easy enough to find kasumi out for a jog, but it's also probably even easier to spot sora who just begins to jog alongside her while still in his pirate gear. how is his hat staying on? who knows! regardless, he's here and bounding along beside her, and she can probably feel the happy vibes radiating off of him.]
[Hi, Sora. She's wearing the bottom half of her tracksuit on this lovely day, though the top has been temporarily replaced by a shirt from the Emporium. Probably because, uh, some asshole went ham on her arms after midnight on Friday. But that's fine. Sumire smiles at him as he saddles up to her, a more subdued type of happiness radiating from her in turn.]
Mhm! It's important that I maintain my routine even now.
[After the investigation, she will head out to look for Sora. Binch, where you at? If he's literally on the floor, maybe she'll step on him. We just don't know.]
[he is...sitting in front of the planetarium with his head in his hands. vibin'. doing as tiny pirates do best. he also does not seem to notice someone is looking for him.]
[SCREAMING. at some point, sora hauls ass down to the first aid station. i don't think they have beds here, but it's where he would look first to try and find sumire, so when he enters he's immediately looking around to see if they set her up somewhere. and upon spotting her, he gently walks into the room to approach]
[the queen room is nice isn't it? she will find him seated at the table with his feet propped up, leaning back in a chair and staring at the ceiling and the walls.]
Hey. Come check it out! This is Swan's meeting room.
