Mm? Oh. Yeah, a little. [the sword is still nearby and he's busy tacking up a sign on the bathroom door, but he offers her a smile.] I just wanted to get these up before tonight.
Yeah. [he holds up one of the signs to show her.] I was thinking one on the front door, one on the kitchen door and one on the bathroom door. Clementine helped me make these. [there's a nod then.] If you want to help though, sure.
Yeah. She might think it's a little silly, but if we can do even one thing to help other people stay safe, that's enough. [he adores clementine solely for helping him. but he will hand over a flyer! there are only a few because paper shortage but you know.]
Thanks. I don't mind doing stuff like this by myself, but it does go faster with a friend. [and then he can sit back down and promptly die a little.]
Okay. So it started Wednesday night. I was leaving the kitchen, but when I went through the door I ended up in a hallway that looked a lot like the space station, but it wasn't. Alex, Blanca and Shiro were all there, too. We found two trails ahead of us. One was blood, and the other was this weird purple goo. Shiro said we should split up, so he and Blanca went after the blood and Alex and I went the other way. We didn't know we wouldn't see them again for a while.
Alex and I found a torso inside the elevator at the end of the hall. It was covered in that same purple goo on the lower half, but the head and arms were clean. We wanted to use the elevator, but we didn't have a keycard to use it. So we had to find our way through this human experimentation lab instead. First through the contamination room, then through the lab, then the observation room, and then confinement chambers. The decontamination chamber and the lab were wrecked. Gouges in the wall, blood and glass everywhere, and there were these tubes full of...humans? Monsters? They were both. We went up to the observation room to try and see where we were and accidentally turned off the ventilation system, so this gas started leaking in. We found some notes and a DVD and followed the map we found on the observation console to the back where there were four chambers. One was a room with more of those tubes, one was an operating room, one was a bedroom, and one was a confinement room. The tubes...had our friends. We couldn't free them at all. And the DVD was...[hm.] Anyway. Four of the test subjects were failures, but the fifth one escaped its confinement chamber to chase us down. By the time we got back to the elevator with the keycard, we ended up in this room with these huge windows floating above this city...there was an office, too, ahead of us. That's where I found the sword, but it was stuck in a chair with a bunch of blood. We didn't really have time to think though before...someone? Another monster? Something came after us and we had to fight.
...it gets a little fuzzy after that. He said some things that didn't make sense to me, but when I hit his sword with mine time froze for a bit. After that we ended up passing out on the helicopter landing pad outside as the meteor we spotted kept speeding up about to crash into us. When I woke up, we were inside those same kind of test tubes. But they weren't in the lab anymore. Instead, we were in the mansion Blanca and Shiro were in. They had to break us out and we had to get out because the mansion was burning down. Alex was still passed out, but we didn't have time to wake her up before everything started falling apart. We ran. And when we got to the exit of the house we ended up on the bridge back in this place.
[Holy fuck, that's so much. She looks progressively horrified as he goes on, the color draining from her face. Once he's done, her voice has gone wobbly at the edges.]
Sora-san, that's... [Terrible? Horrible? It's beyond words. She takes a deep breath.] I'm so, so sorry. Please, is there anything I can do for you? You really ought to be resting.
It's okay. It's fine, it worked out. We made it out of there and we're all in one piece and that's about the best we can ask for. I've been resting though.

Oh! In case the doors are locked again... [Smart.] Do you need an extra pair of hands?

[Bless Clementine... She will hold her hands out. Give her some flyers.]
I'm offering, so of course I want to. Besides, it would be irresponsible of me to leave you to do this on your own.

I can take care of the kitchen and bathroom doors. You really ought to be resting, you know.

[Buddy. Please.]
Shall we walk and talk? Actually, I wanted to ask about what happened if you're comfortable talking about it.

Yeah. [but ah.] ...it's a pretty long story. But I can try to make it shorter if you want.

[Sora, please lay down on a hecking bed. What the fuck.]
Have you asked a leader about this? Why did this have to happen to you, or the others?

I wonder if anything we've seen so far has been drawn from the leaders' lost memories.
