So, Ghost City. [ 6'3" ghost, 8' skeleton, same difference. ] Our butcher has a boar's head, though someone found that hard to believe when I first told them. A soup shop has a rooster spirit for the owner, we have any number of ghosts and ogres and demons...
[ He sidesteps a bubble, following after Sora as he heads towards the manor. Even if there's a wild west frontier beyond them, Hua Cheng looks like he fits right in, trailing along. ]
If we can move it enough, we might be able to at least gain access from an angle if not from head on, considering it collapsed from above.
That sounds pretty close. The mayor has two faces, and Oogie Boogie was a sack of bugs causing all sorts of trouble.
[the bubble floats away, not quite ready for the memshare. into the manor they go and sora continues carrying that light, carefree spirit about him even as the area around them grows darker as they walk down the hall.]
I'm thinking the same thing. I don't know if it's important, but at least we could see the rest and make sure it's not blocking even more rooms and stuff.
It is rather close. Even the sack of bugs causing trouble. [ He has an entire list of inanimate objects given life that cause trouble.
But, for now, he's more focused on stepping into the hall, looking around with a quiet sort of interest, steps certain. Even when the floorboards creek under their feet and darkness settles on them. ]
And who knows what we might find, behind it all, if we can get it to move? Not an exit, I'm sure. [ dryly ] But something interesting.
[he seems all too comfortable in the darkness while he follows hua cheng, keeping his eyes up and always roaming.]
That's how it's always been, right? There's always been at least one place that's been blocked off either physically or with a sign and there's been a mystery behind it. There was the sign on the moon and the swamp...like this place is trying to tempt us.
[to...break boundaries? no, sora, that's just you and every other nosy idiot.]
Maybe this is that place, for this area. Though there's no sign at the moment... [ hum. No, it's the mine, which you found out and used to your advantage, huh.
He steps closer to the debris, nudging at a piece with the toe of his boot. A few bubbles lazily float around nearby, but he ignores them for now. ]
I don't tend to like being told I can't go somewhere. Makes me more curious in what's going on. There's the possibility it just collapsed because of rot and being unable to support the weight of itself, but - that feels disappointing?
Maybe. If it's haunted with ghosts and stuff it could be. [it's fine, sora knows nothing yet. bubbles float and sora doesn't perceive.]
I think you and I have that in common. [a sunny grin. sora doesn't like limitations. actually literally none of the swans do, god.] That feels like the easy answer and that means it probably isn't the only thing. There has to be a mystery attached. [he moves some stuff aside with his hands, crouching down to get a better look.]
It can't be too bad though. [also snow pick who's memsharing first.]
