No. Not that I know of. We slept through all of it just like people have said.

'Tis unnatural the way we sleep through it all. But it is also telling that these killings must be targeted.

Yeah. It's...if this is like some of the others, Raven's nova must've been splintering apart and someone was told to kill him. But I dunno.

It's very confusing, Alphinaud. Like...bad.

Yeah. Like...[he holds up both of his hands so they're gripping each other before pulling them apart and making a crackling sort of noise.]

Supposedly people's nova can begin to splinter and if it's not taken care of, the consequences would be even worse.

And by "taken care of", you mean disposed of.

Right. Virid was asked to kill Hajime, so the theory now is that people are being asked to take out people they find the nova to be splintering from.

By the Twelve... Do any of us know who is doing the asking?

According to my Leader, only someone else's Leader could ask them to do something like that. I don't know how many people know but s'worth asking yours...if they know anything about it.

Good. They're here to help us, and we can't help them much if we don't know what we're doing. Especially with a monster on the loose somewhere, too. We need to start figuring out a plan.

Yeah, I will. It's the splintering thing that matters most right now. I think that's the biggest mystery we have...nobody knows how it happens and if they do know they aren't saying so.

Someway, somehow, I will find out, for the longer we go without knowing, the more that will die in the coming weeks. I cannot allow more lives to be lost like this.

Yeah...noooooo dying. [thank you, sora.] But there're people killing people who aren't splintering. Just doin' it for fun...those people are bad.

Maybe fun isn't right? But...they have their own things in mind. It's the only thing that makes sense.

Can't tell you. Not even sure who finished the job, but Sharon's whole thing was a kill made in self-defense. She was looking to hurt someone just to get her memories back...supposedly.

... I see. If that is truly the case, well... I would rather that be it than think she were an innocent victim in this.

She tried to explain why she was doing it, but the other person didn't want to die. So they fought back. It would've counted as a guilty culprit though if we caught them even if it was just defense.

... I feel relived that we had not caught them, but they must feel they have to remain in hiding now. Their information would prove valuable.

Exactly. Stupid, right? It makes the whole thing even more unfair than usual.

[but he frowns.] Some people know who it is. But I haven't heard and I don't want to ask. I hope...maybe they'll come to me someday, or we'll find another way to communicate.
