...I suspected that someone was using some sort of power or something, but maybe they're doing it on their leader's behalf. Someone's sending mysterious messages to make someone else pick their choices. Was it on a Monday, too? What'd you pick?

I don't think so. I'm pretty sure Shima was the same as he's always been, but I wouldn't doubt someone else picked something to use against him last week. Either that, or Laine had something to curse him before he died. We might never know.

I don't know if it works that way. The most we can do to help each other right now is to protect whoever did do this. You know Swan wouldn't have asked any of us if there was a choice, but...this isn't gonna be the last time either. We need to kill at least twice in order to save our dead and bring Sumire and Hajime back. And each team has to do the same to save their own teammates. It's the only way to bring everybody back.

Because things have to be done this way. You don't understand, do you? You can be upset with how things are done, that's fine, but try not to be upset at the people who did it.
