Sometimes weird can just be because we don't know about their circumstances, but that's an icebreaker I guess. [ speaking of: ]

Although on yours... "Junior Hero"?

We're real heroes. There's no junior about it anymore no matter what anybody says. [boo.]

No, I mean... heroes in general? That's not something you see as a title often.

Oh, yeah. Not every world has though I guess, but ours do. But Phil made us Junior Heroes after he trained us, so we had to work even harder to become full heroes.

Yeah. He's Hercules's trainer, but he wouldn't let us participate in the games at the coliseum until we proved ourselves.

No, I... [ sora ] That part's fine, I get that training's involved, but who's Hercules? What's the coliseum?

Is that where the sparring takes place?

Ohhhh. [OHHHH that's the part she's confused about. got it!

he shoots another basket and watches the ball bounce off the rim. boo.]

The coliseum was this huge space where people would come to fight monsters and stuff, including Hercules. He's a hero, too, and I guess he's related to the gods or something. Phil's a satyr but he's Hercules's trainer and he was the one in charge of everything. Once we proved we were tough enough to fight, we got to enter the games. Except Hades--he's from the Underworld--came in to wreck everything and sent Cerberus into the arena instead, so we had to fight and beat him.

... It sounds pretty, uh... [ far fetched? ] ... it's a little difficult to grasp, maybe? It sounds a bit fantastical, but there's enough detail there for it to be true. [ or a really powerful hallucination but she's not gonna say that out loud ]

Yeah. [another basket goes swish swish.] I think I wouldn't have thought it was true either if I didn't know there were other worlds out there. But every world is different.

What's yours like?

[chanteuser]

Oh, you've travelled to other worlds? ... [ yesterday she would've thought that to be impossible, but... y'know. she's here right now isn't she? ]

My world? [ ... ] I'd say it's normal, but that's normal to me rather than everyone. It's... there's a lot of problems with it, but there's also lots of people just living their lives the best they can there too.

[reconnective]

Yeah. We've been to a lot of them over the last couple of years. [but his world traveling thing isn't important at the moment. he's more curious about alex.]

Are they problems that can be fixed? [that's always the first question. and he shoots another basket.] What are the people like?

Some problems are pretty deep rooted. And... they're just like any people. There are good and bad people everywhere, and some of them are... more powerful than others, or louder than others.

[yes, but also no.]

Just like any people. [it sure does sound familiar at least.] I've heard a bit about a lot of people's worlds...most of them aren't the same, but it just means there really is a reason this world picked us.

[chanteuser]

You don't think it was just coincidence? If there's that many worlds and they're pulling at random, they're going to get a variety of people.

I don't know. Could be, but I don't think it was just because they felt like picking out of nowhere. They know enough about us for that data, don't they?

True. And we know nothing about them.

It doesn't seem very fair, does it?
